Natalie is 11 months old!

Natalie is 11 months old now. I can't believe how fast that went and I know it's only going to go faster. She is so much fun right now. She's so playful! She has this thing where she loves to make other people laugh but then she tries to keep a straight face. It's amazing how much she understands too. I think she said "grandma" or "grandpa" last night. There's a lot of times when she'll say something that sounds like this or that and I think it probably is another word. She's very close to walking. She takes one step and then chicken's out and squats. These last couple of weeks, Gary has been barking and he never used to do that, but there are men working on a house next door and I think he's being protective of Natalie. He barks at the meter reader now too. Gary really does seem to like Natalie so I really think that's why he's barking all of a sudden. So now, of course, Natalie barks too!

That's dangerous!

Memorial Day

On Memorial Day, Ottawa Reformed Church held it's 50's Diner. We went there for lunch. The youth leaders danced the Charleston every half an hour. Matt and Katie, Nick, and our friends, Aaron and Heidi were some of the dancers. It was really cute. Katie dressed my niece Briella up in a poodle skirt too.

After the Diner, we went to Jordan's aunt and uncle's pool. It was Natalie's first swimming pool experience. She loved it. We always have such a good time playing in the pool or playing games inside.

Memorial Day Weekend

We spent the weekend camping at Silver Lake with friends and their families. It was Jordan's and my 5th year visiting these people. We arrived Friday morning and left late Sunday night. We have a large tent which makes things a little more difficult with the food. But it actually went pretty good with Natalie and Gary. Natalie and her new friend Dominic Nyenbrink went for a ride on his gator. She loved it. It was very cute! Natalie loves the outdoors and was a pretty content little girl all weekend. She actually took better naps there in the tent than she does at home. We had a really good time.

The sunsets were gorgeous!

Blogging Again

I've been getting complaints about my blog lately.... I guess it has been kind of long since I last blogged. Natalie is almost 10 and a half months old. I cannot believe how fast the time went. She loves to babble and point at things. She has 4 teeth now. She's still crawling all over and she walks around the furniture but not on her own. But that's ok because she gets into enough already! She is the happiest little baby, most of the time. She loves Gary so much too! She's always chasing him around and trying to cuddle with him. She's got the cutest little giggle and she thinks the dog is hilarious. Gary is quite fond of Natalie too, because she's always dropping her food over the edge of her high chair. She just brings us so much pleasure. I can't imagine our lives without her.

I love those little legs and the shoes that she has on.

My growing baby....and belly!

I am just about 4 months pregnant with baby #2. It still doesn't seem real to me that I am going to have another one. I can't imagine loving 2 babies. It's such an overwhelming feeling just being in love with one child! Jordan and I are hoping for a boy this time but, we'll be just as happy with another girl! I really think it's a boy though! My stomach just popped right out with this baby. People who see me with Natalie and don't know I'm pregnant probably just figure that I still haven't lost all of the weight from having her! Jordan and I are so fortunate that God would choose to bless us with another child. He must think that we'll be able to handle it!
